"Hitsumabushi” is famous dish in Nagoya area.

 

It is close to “Teriyaki” taste. It is chopped “Kabayaki”  eel on rice served in a lacquer ware container called  “Hitsu”. You can enjoy this dish in three unique ways.

1. Eat just as it is.

2. Have the eel with green onion and “Wasabi”.

3. Pour broth over the eel and rice and enjoy it (called “Chazuke”)
